The ROKC is open to members of all
ages, shapes, and sizes.

The ROKC particiated in the Belleville Tournament. We had a great day;
everyone did well and really enjoyed the tournament. Kyle won gold in grappling
against a group of at least 20 kids. Katie won silver in her grappling
category. Sensei Mike won bronze in Black Belt Kata.
Welcome to the Rideau Osgoode Karate Club. Our club was
founded in 1988 by Sensei Albert Ethier. At the Rideau Osgoode Karate
Club we teach Goju-Ryu Karate, as taught by the late Hanshi Miyazato,
to all ages from child to adult. We also teach Jiu Jitsu and
Located just south of Ottawa, the National Capital of Canada,
the Rideau-Osgoode Karate Club services the township of Osgoode with
members from Metcalfe, Manotick, Greely, Mountain, North Gower,
Osgoode, Kars, Kemptville, Heckston, and Ottawa.
New members are always welcome. If you are interested in
Karate, you are welcome to attend a class to see if we're the right

Getting your black belt is an important milestone. But it’s not the final goal. It is, perhaps, a goal, but it is not the goal.
Training and continuous improvement is your goal. Or rather, that’s my goal. Your goal is really up to you.
