Welcome to the Rideau Osgoode Karate Club. Our  club was founded in 1988 by Sensei Albert Ethier. At the Rideau Osgoode Karate Club we teach Goju-Ryu Karate, as taught by the late Hanshi Miyazato, to all ages from child to adult. We also teach Jiu Jitsu and Grappling.

Located just south of Ottawa, the National Capital of Canada, the Rideau-Osgoode Karate Club services the township of Osgoode with members from Metcalfe, Manotick, Greely, Mountain, North Gower, Osgoode, Kars, Kemptville, Heckston, and Ottawa.

New members are always welcome. If you are interested in Karate, you are welcome to attend a class to see if we're the right club for you. Please see our schedule for class times. For information, please contact the ROKC at info@rokc.ca.

Sensei says...

Getting your black belt is an important milestone. But it’s not the final goal. It is, perhaps, a goal, but it is not the goal.

Training and continuous improvement is your goal. Or rather, that’s my goal. Your goal is really up to you.
